Gender X Innovation

Dr. Saska attained her PhD from Western University, after which she channelled her research and knowledge into making the tech world more gender equitable. Using her experience at the MaRS Discovery District and academic background, she has launched Feminuity, a global consulting firm that aims to improve gender equity in tech and ultimately drive innovation.

Dr. Sarah Saska presented that understanding our unconscious biases and being aware of systematic biases is critical to our future, especially in today’s fast paced environment and societal shifts.

Art of Intersectionality Initiative

All HBA1 students had the opportunity within their section classrooms during class breaks to represent pieces of their identity on a section-specific art project. This project entailed students collaboratively painting on a canvas together with their section mates and was inspired by the concept of the beauty of intersectionality.
